Here it is .... The Rescue Tray. I came up with this after one of the dirt bikes in our group broke down in the middle of the sand dunes. Sometimes you're in a spot where a truck can get to you, a lot of times you're not!
This tray bolts to your sand rail frame and cradles the bike tire allowing you to securely strap it in place for the ride back to camp. The first one I made was placed into action on my very next trip to Glamis when my buddy lost compression on his bike.
I have one of these permanently bolted to my dune buggy roof (with reinforcement on the underside) and I keep the rear tire tray zip tied to the floor of my buggy.
The price is for one tray (5" wide x 18" long) and two square u bolts with star knobs and wrench. I also swap out the thin metal washers for thicker ones so they won't bend and loosen. Ships as bare metal. Straps not included.
U bolts and hole spacing is 1.75" intended for 1.5" tube. You will more than likely need to drill a couple of new holes in the tray to fit your vehicle, but you also have the option of sending me the spacing you need and I'll custom make one for you (same price).
